Sounds great...please do a video for a proper Acid Synth line in Vital. There are so many videos out there for serum. I think this would be very interesting for many of your followers. Greets from Frankfurt
@TraxtasyMedia3 жыл бұрын
yeah figuring out an Acid patch is very difficult, because for Vital you can't recreate that from Serum 1:1

I'm still learning how and when to use macros, especially to save time within presets etc. and that was an awesome trick. Cheers
@XeloX583 жыл бұрын
Yes and what you can do is: link the mod wheel to 1 or more macro’s. That way you can record a midi track while playing live on your midi board. The midi will recognize your wheel and record that as well. (I mostly use it to change the filter settings in pads or vibrato in solo sounds) btw, aftertouch on vibrato is very nice too ! :)

Wow, I never though to use one instrument to trigger a pattern in another. I plan on performing with guitar and using LFOs and sequencing to "play" the other instruments and this just opened up a whole other world for me. Thank you!

It would be super cool if you did a tutorial on the big bass sound from the beginning of Nation of Wusses by Infected Mushroom, in vital. I think they made it in massive, but I dont have massive lol. As well as the psy bass from Gravity Waves off of Return to The Sauce. I really like the kind of wobbly-ness of it, but am not sure how they made it.

Nice tutorial, thanks for your insights, I didn't know the phase modulation trick yet, great tip. But I still don't get one thing everybody seems to do. When you said the bass is too high in pitch, you dragged down the transpose of the main oscillator. Everybody does this but it seems a bit nuts to me because now no midi note makes sense anymore with this preset and you could have just played the correct lower note. As far as I know this function is mainly just for oscillators to vary the pitch from the other oscillators to achieve a certain sound or chord. Makes sense? Or am I wrong here and it actually does change the tone of the synth? Best regards man!

-12 semitones is the same result as moving the midi down 1 octave.
@Roibsworth3 жыл бұрын
I am losing my mind trying to figure this out. How do you get vital to loop an envelope and get it to continuously go back and forth like that? I can't find anywhere that tells me how to do it. All of my envelopes just reach the end and my note just stays there. I'm probably just being reeeaaally stupid, but can someone please tell me how to fix this. Thank you

sorry for the dumb question but how do you make the note keep playing after hitting one key? I made the sound in vital but the note only plays once when I hold a key. I feel like im missing something obvious but I cant for the life of me figure it out

wide disagreement , but you seem to know any song written in the 80s as it seems! i grew up in the 80s and i think synthwave captures the spirit very well and enhanced it, especially as we know the techniques and its very simple music.
