Hope you like the video! I'll probably do at least one more sound design video in this series so let me know in the comments if you have a specific sound you really want me to recreate.

I like these nice and easy to follow as you speak slowly and clearly. Occasionally you should show people exactly how you're doing things especially for new users :) It's good though honestly

Thanks for the explaination behind the sounds :) , I would try to use that as a title for future how to make videos, When you make a sound of a how to make video you can use the title behind the sounds if that makes sense, Also i would highly recommend adding that slight detail where you explain why you detune less or click the phase button and stuff like that like what the buttons do in general, That would make the viewer understand what the actual button is doing and therefore he'll be able to produce other sounds too :), Sorry didn't mean to critique you by any means if thats how it's turned out!
@AnotherMonster5 жыл бұрын
Y0nex critique is good. I do my best to explain everything I my videos, but I also try to keep everything short and concise. I’ve done a lot of these GMS tutorials so I’ve covered the phase retrigger buttons in previous videos. Basically it just makes sure that the oscillator is generating sound from the same position of phase every time so that the sound always sounds the same when you first hit the note.

Also not trying to doubt you or something but i think saying that synthwave doesn't use a lot of sub bass in the genre is like limiting yourself and setting yourself rules, I personally think there aren't any in music generally speaking :)

First convolver and now GMS? FL Studio has some default stuff in it that I've been overlooking for years and years.

ytiralc For years I’ve overlooked so many stock plugins which are actually pretty amazing. Honestly it wasn’t until I created this channel that I started diving in and learning more about these stock FL Studio plugins. Lately I’ve started to realize just how amazing image-line actually is. I’ve been trying to tackle sytrus recently and that synth is a beast.

Audrey Belrose I’ve never really gotten into much industrial type stuff. I know the sound design can be pretty insane though. Not really familiar with these guys. When it comes to more complex sound design I was always more into more of the edm side of things like dubstep, dnb, etc.
