I show you how to make t-shirt designs on your phone for free using this awesome app that works on both iPhone and Android. I talk through some of the features so you can get the best out of Adobe Spark for print on demand when creating shirts on your phone. When you're done, you can upload to Redbubble, Merch by Amazon, or any other POD site.
There are loads of other free apps avaialble - I also tried Yayprint, oShirt, TBSP, PS express, Over, Bunny Free, etc etc. I found Spark to be the best and easiest to use out of them all. I was going to do a compilation/comparison but I thought I might as well skip right to the best one.
Q. Can I use Adobe fonts for commercial projects and client work?
A: Yes, Adobe's standard font licensing agreement (EULA) allows for both personal and commercial use, sales and distribution of designs and documents which are created using the font software.

Competition time! 🎁 It's December, so I'm feelin' festive. I'm giving away a month subscription to ANY of the paid services in the description. You choose and I'll buy you it. That's either PlaceIt, Canva, MerchInformer, or TubeBuddy. I'll select a winner at random in 1 week and reply to to let you know if it's you. Make sure you comment seperately rather than as a reply to this because the TubeBuddy "pick a winner" feature that I use looks at individual comments. Cheers and good luck! 🎅

@PassiveOwl
@PassiveOwl 3 жыл бұрын
It really depends on the niche as to what you can get out of it - every design or collection of designs will be different as well as how you personalize them, so it's impossible to say. Maybe test the waters with individual designs and if a certain niche sells, add more from the same collection.

WARNING: Be careful when you use icons from Adobe spark.. because I see all or most of them are from "The noun project" which requires you to give credit (attribution) when using their graphic. also be careful with images and read the license well to know how to use it. After you add an icon or image to your design, select it and click on Source Info in the right to see the license.. and I think there are cases where you will go to the source itself to see the license. All details: www.adobe.com/legal/permissions/image-notice.html You will find that all icons are from @t which requires you to credit them. You can contact them to know how to credit them, because maybe they won't agree to credit just in the description of your product on Merch By Amazon, Maybe they require to add the credit too into the design itself like @t does. And It's impossible as a seller to mention something like that on your end printed T-shirt. That's why I don't use @t for T-shirts. If you want to remove the credit part, you have to buy a plan from them (@t ) allowing you to use without attribution. I don't know if you have a subscription in Adobe Suite will give you the permission to use @t without credit, But I think no, You can search a little deeper to know or contact them. That's why you should use you own resources or get Public Domain resources like @t and download what you want then open it in any vector software like Inkscape and export it as PNG then upload the PNG to Adobe Spark to use it. ------------------------------------ After you download the image, some platforms require to adjust the (dpi) of image before uploading because they don't do it automatically.. so take of this note. When I need to adjust the dpi, I usually do it in Inkscape in phys dpi field while exporting the image as png... but you can open Gimp instead and go to Image > Print size then make it 400 ppi (pixel per inch) then I export it as png and change Compressing to low value 1 or 2 ------------------------------------ Great, I love the concept you introduced that there is no barrier to start working. You made the tutorial on the Mobile version although there is a web version on Desktop spark.adobe.com/ but you wanted to even smaller things in your life could help you to work and earn money. There are tutorials here which I think might gives you sense of a real designer or good design process: spark.adobe.com/ex/tutorials/ I have started print on demand from months and didn't make a sale yet. But this is the life. You keep working & Improving and results will come no matter how long you wait. Thank you so much, you are awesome.

Hello, I've recently started following your channel and am finding your videos very useful. I had a question though: Previously I was designing my POD work on either Adobe Illustrator or Ps and keeping the resolution of my design to 300dpi as it is for print medium. Recently, I started using adobe spark for designing t shirts basically, and I must admit, its much easier to design in it and that even from the convenience of a phone. However, when I checked my designs' resolution that I have made so far, all of them had 72 dpi (even the text only based designs) and I have been taught that this resolution is fit for screen designs but for print medium, we need high resolution. I tried checking the solution to my problem on google but cant find its answer anywhere. I'm very confused regarding this and don't know what I should do regarding all the designs that I had made and uploaded using spark. Would be grateful if you answer my query. Thank you.

Sorry, a question dealing something else. I have been having trouble with apostrophe in Redbubble. When using it in title, it turned to '&' and some other odd friends so the title looked awful. I began to use comma instead. Now I notice that some other creators have used apostrophe without trouble and some still have these odd fellows in their titles. This could even effect how the search result turns out? Any advice? Thank you in advance.

Look at the price of the item, put it in your own Amazon account to find out royalty per sale. Multiply royalty per sale by amount of sales displayed on MerchInformer :) these are the ones I listed in the video: www.amazon.com/dp/B07HKG4XM1 - $9.01 profit per sale. $4,459.95 per month. www.amazon.com/dp/B07N8SKBLY - $5.23 profit per sale. $2,824.20 per month. www.amazon.com/dp/B07L9RVGWH - $2.95 profit per sale. $3,428.10 per month. These will vary as the BSR changes, of course.

What is your experience of re-uploading the works suspended/removed by RB from the marketplace, using different keywords that do not mention the brand and get you discovered by the license holder? Risky or worth it?
@PassiveOwl
@PassiveOwl 3 жыл бұрын
Generally: no. But if you are adamant on doing so, it depends on how risky the design was - can you identify whether it was the design or the keywords that were violating copyright? If it's the keywords, maybe worth another try. If it's the design - nope. If you want to be 100% safe: don't do it at all.
