@PassiveOwl4 жыл бұрын
How long is a piece of string? 🤷🏼♂️ Impossible to say as there are so many variables I’m afraid. If it’s a broad niche with a lot of options then you might be able to do loads, but maybe not... My advice if you’re new is to target many different niches and see what works. You can then do further research into what was successful to see if there’s room for expansion later on🤞

Thanks for the video. Just a question, if the first column, which represents the popularity, the lower number means more popular, then in the second column (popularity change), when you see a negative number, does it mean the number has decreased, meaning gaining of popularity? Or means only lose of popularity? I am a bit confused on that. Thanks.

Thanks for the explanation. This information is very helpful!! I do have a question, is Teespring a good POD site and should I be using it? Thanks again
@PassiveOwl4 жыл бұрын
Teespring operates a bit differently to the ones that I normally talk about. It depends on your target market I suppose. I make a few sales now and then on Teespring but my results aren't amazing. There are some people who are really making a fortune on it though. It tends to be people that organise their own marketing campaigns using paid ads. So in summary, it is a good POD if you make it work for you. In my opinion, it's harder to be successful when compared to Redbubble and Amazon.

That would be a great feature. MerchInformer has this, it's called "Merch Archive", but that is specific to Merch by Amazon products. You can still use it for design ideas at least. There's a free trial for MI here -> bit.ly/merchinformer-trial so at least you can look at the generally niches. Unfortunately nothing like that exists for Redbubble that I'm aware of.

I do have a question related to trade marks. It's very direct so I hope it doesn't give you too much trouble (if you do reply). Imagine the phrase "United we stand" just that, it originates from a Greek storyteller from 6th century but if paste it on TESS it will appear a ton of both, exact sentence and others not so exact. Does this mean that it cannot be used on any merch with commercial intent ? Also, sometimes I search a keyword and results appear, but any matching what I wrote, does that mean it's intellectual property of those enterprises ? Thank you a lot ! Also this video was useful i had already heard about that tool but you explained it really well, I appreciated it!
@PassiveOwl4 жыл бұрын
If someone has registered the exact sentence "united we stand" and it lists the usage as t-shirts/print/design then I'd stay away from it. If it doesn't have that, you could use it but make sure you keep checking back because the registration might expand in the future. Personally, I'd probably leave it just for peace of mind that my design isn't going to get taken down. If you search for a keyword and results appear but they don't match the phrase exactly then again it could be okay to use, but there are so many variables. You have to check whether the registration is live, what it applies to, etc. Annoying, but has to be done, especially for Merch by Amazon.
