I've been thinking about this dish ever since I heard your podcast "Four Persian Cooks" a few weeks ago (by the way, I didn't think rice can make someone so emotional 🥺). After listening to Samin's instructions, I WILL attempt this. It's interesting how simple comfort foods cross over to/from other cultures. We ate boiled/mashed potatoes with buttermilk/kefir and fried egg... a Polish summer favorite and absolute comfort food. ❤️
