My favourite is matcha filling! I think savoury is a great idea though! Ham/smoked salmon and cheese, curry, spaghetti bolognaise, baked beans, or prawns/shrimp and salad would be tasty.

spaghetti bolognaise, need this 😋 i know carb x carb like yakisoba. hahaha

@ochikeron Carbs go so well together! We have jaffle sandwiches here, and a lot of people put either spaghetti bolognese or tinned spaghetti in them. So tasty!!

ahaha your kids are so cute! And I really love this savoury version of taiyaki! I always made it with red bean paste or chocolate spread, so maybe I will try this next time with ham and egg salad. Thanks for the recipe idea! :)
Do you know Taiyaki? It is a very popular traditional Japanese fish-shaped cake with sweet red bean paste inside. createeathappy.blogspot.jp/2013/05/how-to-make-taiyaki-video-recipe.html In this video, I am showing you how to make "savory" Taiyaki sandwiches👍

I didn't know u can make savory Taiyaki, much less Taiyaki sandwiches. It's a shame I don't have the pan to make it though. Either way, they all look delicious! Arigatogozaimasu!

Ok,totally want that heart apron you have on in the end card,but then again I just am a sucker for cute kitchen stuff. Also pizza (pepperoni and cheese ) would make a nice filling. I could see maybe seafood salad being in one,maybe mix in a little bit of spicy flying fish roe in with it for a nice kick. Being from the US and from the south, I gotta say that filling it with pulled pork bbq,beef brisket bbq with cheese or even beef chili would be awesome.

@arlettasloan64536 жыл бұрын
I have a question, for anyone who might know the answer. The pan used in the video - is it used for other things? It reminds me a bit of an omelette pan I saw before. I have just about zero use for a sandwich, most days; but, it sure would be cool to use it to make an omelette. If it would work.
@ochikeron6 жыл бұрын
i think it works. it is a fish shaped regular non stick pan. hehe

How come theres no more babies at the end:O
@ochikeron6 жыл бұрын
good point! there are many reasons... 1. I post almost the same videos and updates on Instagram and facebook page 2. I think I take too much time to edit the ending... but it does not help grow my cooking videos (i don't regret what i have posted in the past because i enjoyed sharing them. don't take me wrong~ i just changed my mind now) 3. kids are growing and my daughter is sometimes not happy with the video shooting. LOL 4. many many more reasons... etc
