Use a silicone ring directly ON the pan, it’s much easier for a “non professional”. Yes.. I’m Colombian we do them in the hand but I measure with a scoop for consistency in the amount of dough.

Is the inside supposed to feel like mushed potatoes?
@eugenesedita2 жыл бұрын
Nope, firmer. Watch more vids you’ll probably see it.

@@eugenesedita i did it exactly like the vid but my friend told me that it looks uncooked in the inside. Next time i will make em a lot thinner and cook them really slow and then put them in the oven for 15 minutes. I will try them with the tunisian hot sauce called harissa, cheese, omelette and tuna.

I just did it few minutes ago and I have exactly the same question. I fried the arepas in a medium hot oil coated pan until golden brown, they are crispy in the outside but inside looks uncooked or like you said, mushed potatoes....not so good!🤫🤔😔

Lose the plastic on the board, and flour the board with the cornmeal instead and flour your rolling pin too. Also,the inside didn't look cooked. What is the consistency on the inside? Thank you for sharing, can't wait to try!

Bruh this is so cursed 😂 Idk I'm from Venezuela and i have never seen anyone use a cutting board, or Saran wrap, or a roller, and especially a cookie cutter 😂 Do with the hands, man! Use your hands!
