Hi Sherry, this whole thing with dumplings. This was a really easy way to have the same concept, but it was much easier to make. Bisquick is amazingly versatile. TFW!

That looks like a crowd pleaser and very easy. I went back to using my potato masher mostly after watching Alton Brown explain the chemistry of potatoes. I use my stick if I want them more gluey like childhood lunches or from diners. I like gluey, but lumpy was determined by the Food Network to be more "gourmet" I guess. 😅

Hi Everette, I even remember the day of the week that the creamed chicken was served in the cafeteria. Wednesday was my favorite day to go to school, because they were serving the creamed chicken that was similar to the chicken and dumplings in this recipe. I think that it is so funny how food can bring back warm childhood memories. lol Thanks for the visit!
