Any real black person who is woke will know Haitian food is the closest you will get to the motherland. I'm Bahamian but I love all foods. My taste buds don't discriminate I love Haitian food, Jamaican food, Bahamian food, Mexican food, if it's good I like it!

I was craving this soup and craving this soup. I couldn’t get in touch with my mom and found this on KZbin. OMG delicious my mother is Haitian and my cousin on my dad side she’s American and Jamaican. She had 2 bowls and took some to work. This was the first time she has had this soup. I had four bowls of it so freaking good thank you !!!!!!!!

Bonne continuation.

@ikigai3232
@ikigai3232 6 жыл бұрын
Scott, I don't think we have a clear soup out of Haiti. To make this soup or similar soups clear add the meat last minute (reserve the meat broth for another meal), skip the tomatoes and tomato paste. If you want the broth very clear, you'd have to boil the root vegetables separately and reserve the liquid for another dish.
