I'm still trying to figure out what the ingredients are.
@nothankyou55249 ай бұрын
I'd not he a fan of the soap, as it adds viscosity, but if it works, it works. PB is primarily acetone. The ATF could only add viscosity. I've used acetone or lacquer thiner 70% to Dexron 5 30% and found it works well, especially with a little heat, so it's drawn. Dex 5 is low viscosity. Dex 3 is/was high viscosity. I rebuilt a fair amount of Chevy small blocks. The older, the more seasoned, the more time tested, the better. I've also found there's a commercial brand that cannot be beat, regardless of what any home maker/home tester says. But that'd just me. I just don't spend money, mine or others, amateur that I am at times, or not, when not needed. And no, I don't ever run out of anything. That just shows poor workmanship. Best wishes.

Could I coat the inside of my air compressor tank with this stuff?
@SweetProjectCars2 жыл бұрын
Here's the problem putting anything with oil in it inside your air compressor, you'll never be able to spray any paint with it, the oil will always be in there. Your best bet, depending on the size of your air compressor, is to use this amzn.to/3VcWBPj Remove your pressure sensor and plug the hole with the appropriate pipe fitting, make sure your compressor is completely dry inside, pour the suggested product into your air compressor, plug all other holes after applying. Then rotate the compressor so that the inside gets coated the best you can, when you feel it's completely coated inside, open the bottom plug of the compressor and let the excess product drain out. Unplug everything else and let it dry for 1 week. Then clean the threads and re-assemble the compressor, this is a very tedious process but it works christopher. does the addition of the blaster and the 40 thin out the fluid film? is that the purpose or to make it go farther? i use fluid film on my bolts AFTER torquing them DRY because it will not seep into the threads and affect torque values. and someday when i want to get the bolts off they will actually come off. however, fluid film comes out of the spray can like a paste and i have to use a paint brush to apply it evenly!

The purpose for this mix is so that not only do you get the two other great rust inhibitors added to the film, but it also makes it usable in these amzn.to/3FzDoiL for ease of application. Thanks for the view and question my friend, have a great day. mad Mike the hammer SPC

Hi! Thank you for the videos. They are truly a money and time saver. Can you use the same products in spray cans?
@SweetProjectCars Жыл бұрын
How ever you want to apply it, we recommend this amzn.to/3x0PONM if you are using a mechanical spray tool/can with an air compressor, you can also apply it with a brush if you like. Thanks for watching and asking, have a great week, and all the best on your project my friend. mad Mike the hammer SPC

@@SweetProjectCars Iron from the rotors sticks to the paint and glass on vehicles. It's noticeable on white and light colors. Iron remover is $80+ a gallon. Meguiars makes a really good one. Just wondering if it's easy to make at home.

I live in Illinois and have a rusty frame Ford Ranger but did not see you treat a rusty area. Plus the video did not show the labels on the bottles so I could re-create the spray. I know you know how to solve car and truck problems that's why I come here. Please make it easy for us to take your advise.

Just click on the area below the video that says "more" and that gives you links to Amazon where you can purchase the products. also check his other videos about the Dawn soap and transmission fluid rust mixture too. A lot cheaper. Click on his picture ( the round circle) and it will take you to his site.
