Recipe for the Ice Cream Base:

Add Milk gradually to get Velvety/pudding-like texture

You don't want to add vanilla extract until after you take the sugar off the heat. If you put it in before or during the cooking of the sugar then the extract will just cook out and be pointless. Otherwise the recipe looks amazing.
