Thanks for the great recipe! I made mine last week, froze em, and cooked them up last night for the fam. BIG HIT. I let them defrost an hour out of the pans. On my Green Mountain pellet grill set at 285, mine took 2.5 hours to get to 165 degrees inside. I smoked them on a mesh cooling rack set in a cookie sheet and was amazed at how little juices were lost. Thanks again K!!

Tried this meatloaf about a week ago and loved it! This weekend I switched it up a bit. No sausage all beef, added diced jalapenos, cayenne pepper, fresh ground smoked ghost pepper, and some slap ya mama hot seasoning. I put it on the Traeger at 275 for about two hours turning them over about half way. After about two hours with meat at 165 I turned it down to 250 and put some devil's spit bbq sauce and let it tighten up for 20 minutes and it's spicy awesome meatloaf! Today's sandwich will be awesome too! Keep the recipes coming, your channel is great! Looking forward to getting some of your rubs!

Made it yesterday on the smoker, only changes was added fresh garlic and serrano pepper when cooking the onion in the bacon grease and used crushed cheese-its instead of breadcrumbs. Also added some hatch green chillies. Formed one huge 3 lb loaf and smoked almost 3 hours at about 250-270 on the smoker using Mesquite. I also layered in Muenster & Provolone cheese in the middle. Just made this for Thanksgiving this past Thursday, almost everyone asked me for the recipe! I can say this is the best meatloaf I have ever had, in fact, my father asked if he could take home the third loaf that was leftover! I took mine out of the freezer and put in the microwave on defrost for a couple of minutes to speed the defrost process up (pulled them when they were 1/8th" de-thawed) and the smoke at 280 degrees took about 1.5 hours. Will make these and keep them in the freezer for dinners as they're quite easy to prepare and cook.

I have watched this one video off and on for some time having the interest in BBQ meatloaf on the Grill. And to be honest about it, I really haven't ever been much on eating meatloaf..... But I thought that if I could do one on the Grill, and change up a few things. And making the flavor more My own, or what I would like. It might help.... But I can't take full credit.... You deserve a big Thank You! .... I put about 6 or 7 together, following your recipe here. For the most part. Except where You used mustard for a binder for the rub. I used Dukes mayo. I am sure that your rubs and seasonings are very good. However using what I had available.... I used different seasonings. I shared some with friends and they Complemented the meatloaf.... One person had to say that it was the best that he had eaten. Except his wife was present. And he had to include her meatloaf too .... lol Thanks for sharing all the great tips and ideas.... We love your videos!
