Ingredients
2 packs of hibiscus leaves
2 pineapple
Honey to taste
Cloves (20 pieces)
2 big ginger roots
1 stick of cinnamon
Health benefits of zobo drink
1* It reducers blood pressure
2*It can reduce menstrual pain
3*It may lower cholesterol
4*It contains anti cancer properties
5* May protect the liver
6*It may be an anti-depressant agent
7*It promotes weight loss
8*It can treat constipation problems
The Ghanaians call it Sobolo
Nigerians call it zobo

The blended pineapple should have been added when the sobo drink is cooled down wnd not to have been cooked! Fruits with vitamin c need not be cooked, don't you think so?

Just learnt something new, I have never blended my pineapple for the cooking process. All the process was so hygienic. Will have mine warm as it is still snowing here

Looks amazing and will try it - please don't say sugar fee though as you add honey. I will still make it for myself because it is all natural - I prefer honey to bleached sugars and use it in everything!

Please I have been craving for zobo lately #earlypregnancycravings but please I want to ask is zobo safe for a pregnant woman since it contains pineapple? And my fruits research says pineapple is not safe for it causes miscarriage bla bla bla. Am few weeks old Please someone should try and reply me

This is a healthy delicious drink. But if you are here, and you are trying to get pregnant, please avoid hibiscus drink. Not safe during early pregnancy.
