How To Make The Fluffiest Pancakes Ever Recipe (American-Style)

These are the fluffiest pancakes you'll ever make that aren't Japanese souffle pancakes, and they take just minutes to make (perfect for Pancake Day breakfast!). If you like your pancakes thick and fluffy but still with a little bit of a bite, this is the recipe for you. They go well with both sweet and savoury toppings, too. You'll need:
🥞 120g self-raising flour
🥞 1 tsp baking powder
🥞 2 tbsp caster sugar
🥞 Pinch of salt
🥞 1 egg
🥞 2 tbsp melted unsalted butter

Try adding baking soda aswell and some apple cider vinegar. It will become twice as fluffy.

just tried making this, turned out well. i would recommend reducing the milk quantity to 110ml to get a thicker batter, and also let the batter sit for 15 minutes before cooking. but decent recipe 👍🏼

I homemade it the first time and used the mixer. I put all the ingredients in it and just mixed it ( not overly mixed it ). It worked just fine with no extra mix bowl included. I also scrape extra flour on the side that it would mixed together. It’s a very fluffy pancakes.

This is good! Having the self rising flour is key because this Walmart flour kept my pancakes 🥞 flat 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣 I had to add more flour to get a little rise
