I baked the coconut biscuit just this evening and it turned out looking good. I am waiting for it to cool down before tasting it. I used freshly grated coconut 🥥. Got pics but not sure how to get them to you. Oh 😊 it’s just been tasted by the family and they liked it. The only complaint was it needed to be a wee bit more golden in colour. 🧐 hmmm! Thanks 🙏🏿 I have learnt something new.

When I was a kid, one of our neighbours used to make these and leave it in my mom's shop for us to sell for her... I used to sneak a few of them and when confronted, I would deny it😂😂. These were my absolute favourite!

Good morning Fafa! I tried tjis recipe out yesterday. I confest that when I put water into dry coconut and let it soak for an hour some of the water evaporated. But alot was left over. I added 1 cup all purpose flour with two tbsp sugar and also 1 tspn coconut oil. I kept stirring the mixture but still a bit runny. I then added more flour until it was more workable. I rolled out dough and shaped it. Some the shapes became funny and miss-shaped because dough was a little stretchy though. I baked for e5 minutes at e50 degrees fahrenheit. The taste was pretty good. One question: How many cups is 30 ml.? I noticed also that gou did not add baking powder nor baking soda to the recipe. Am I correct? And finally what would happen if I did in fact add baking soda and could it be done? One love sister. Btw, you remind me of het another beautiful Ghanaian sister named Sweet Adjelli with your styles of narrating as well as your endings of videos! Be well.

Edith Dompreh I completely agree!!! She introduced me to aniseed (which changed my life) and inspired me to get creative with cooking with whatever is in my fridge and pantry. I can’t believe I used to be so nervous with cooking. Now I feel like I’m in complete control.

No don’t squeeze it out. That’s where the flavour is. Just adjust the extra water you add to it if at all. ❤️❤️

Beautiful! Fafa, how long will it last if I want to make a batch for the family?
@NdudubyFafa4 жыл бұрын
It will last for 3 days in an airtight container. However you can revive it again if it looses it crunch by baking it for 10 minutes in a steam oven (create the steam by placing a tray of water in the oven whilst baking the biscuit).
