Kumi is very easy, but time consuming, but oddly relaxing. That's why we love it, because honestly most of the best crafts are pretty time consuming.

I just went to a flea market and I got some kumihimo bracelets that have no clasp on them they just roll over your hand it's one solid bracelet how do you make these?
@NCGrace4138 ай бұрын
I know I’m a year late, but those are crocheted.

Would you add the extra beads to make it bigger on each row front and back?
@beadaholique3 жыл бұрын
Yes, since the pattern features solid colors at both ends it's easy to add a bit of length by adding more rows of solid color at the beginning and end

Would 11/0 miyuki beads work with design?
@beadaholique3 жыл бұрын
Sure will, in fact these kits use 11/0 miyuki rounds. If you're wondering about the more cylindrical miyuki delicas those would work too for a graduated but the overall look of the bracelet will be a little different with he beads stacking together more tightly. Here's an example of a kumi bracelet using slightly smaller 10/0 delicas to give you bit of idea of how delicas look in this sort of braid: beadaholique.com/products/beaded-kumihimo-wrap-bracelet-new-years-eve-exclusive-beadaholique-jewelry-kit

Are you allowed to sell these online?
@beadaholique3 жыл бұрын
Hi Lori, I appreciate you asking about this. We ask that people not sell any of our designs, including assembled versions of our kits. They're meant to be worn by you or given as gifts. We do encourage everyone to take the techniques and styles you learn from our videos and use them as inspiration for your own for-sale designs. Try designing a new color palette, incorporating different beads, or adding your favorite charms to make the designs your own.

Does Graduated mean change in color or gradiated? Is the word gradiated?
@beadaholique3 жыл бұрын
We're using graduate here in the sense that the pattern gradually shifts from one color to another. Gradated would probably also be correct here, but to me that phrase implies many different shades of color, each a different grade. These kits use only two colors so it's a different effect; less smooth, more striking.
@noelleboehm11423 жыл бұрын
