Hey Tony, I have purchased several of your hat plans and made them, but I had an idea for your next hat and no it's not what hat you should design next but what hat you do if it has a brim with a concealed wire what if you extended the length of the brim, do another set of hole punches, and roll the brim under itself and conceal the edge and wire in that I feel it would save on leather time and everything try it out on one of your older patterns and try it out and see what you think, just an 💡 I had

re: 22:41 The real IJ hat has a crown that is taller in the back than the front. I think by about 15%. It's an Australian bush version of a Fedora. This is a standard Fedora.

Hello Tony, as I said before, I was trying to get my membership off suspension but was unsuccessful. My membership has now been cancelled and I would very much like to join again. Great pattern. Question about sizing. Most of your hats that I have made have had a set size, but this is 57-58cm etc. I normally scale the 58cm down slightly. (My head is 57.5). What size is this actually made for?

the hat comes in 4 different sizes, 58 included

@@DieselpunkRo it’s just that I’m now used to your patterns being 56cm, 57cm, 58cm etc, whereas this is 57-58cm. Which is a large range. Is it more towards the 58cm size? Hope that explains my question better. Thank again. Keep up the great work.
