Thanks for the tutorial. Tedious work it is. The top is the crown and what you were calling the crown are the sides.

Another great build. As always amazed by your design/modeling work. I think the actual kepis worn had a two part chin strap, so they could be used behind head or under chin. Just a nit. I think I will build mine that way. Pattern purchased. Thanks, Tony!

Great design and build as usual! If you use felt for the lining it may make the Kepi a little smaller/snug…

Hi Tony. You are amazing. What about a simple cap, with different styles!!? 🤔

Tony, could I ask you a quick question regarding this project. When you were skiving the visor I noticed you used a grooving tool - what distance from the edge did you allow for when turning it up? Love your builds and I am finally going to have a try at this one. 😂

Great video!! Question: in addition to the red lining, would it be possible to glue then stitch fabric cover like felt over top of the leather for a different look? The leather would be on the inside and give the hat some weight.

Why use 4 oz leather for the top section if you are just going to double layer it?

Can I ask what type of glue you are using, it can’t be contact cement as that would require both surfaces to have a coat of glue?
@no-page Жыл бұрын
It is contact cement, but a lot of KZbinrs don't use it correctly. www.carmyco.gr/en/product/product-name-16/ and www.carmyco.gr/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/CARMYFIX-CM-43-EN.pdf
