So 2.5 ounces rye instead of 2 ounces (which I think is the usual recipe)? I guess I just found an excuse to make my Manhattans a little stronger.

FYI a perfect Manhattan includes Dry vermouth also. You made a Classic Manhattan not a Perfect Manhattan.
