*PSA* : I was unaware of this, and it took me countless hours to figure it out. *If you run OBS in administrator mode, OBS does not accept keypresses for hotkeys from Touch Portal* . If you do the keypresses manually they work, but not from Touch Portal. Everything else from Nutty's tutorial works. _Once I stopped running OBS in administrator mode, Nutty's rewind technique worked like a _*_FREAKIN' CHARM_* !

@@adriplodocus_ I later discovered that if you run both OBS and Touch Portal in administrator mode, everything plays nicely. It's all about privilege, and I feel silly not realizing that earlier. Either way, I hope that this info helps.

Hey mate, sorry to bother you and your post is over a year old but I for some reason can't seem to get this working. I tried asking in Nutty's discord but too many people asking for help at once kinda buried it and I don't know what to do. I've set this thing up 17x now and when I push the button it rewinds, but none of the audio, or effects turn on or turn off. It literally just does the rewind. Both OBS AND Touch Portal have been ran in and out of administration mode and nothing seems to fix it. I have 0 clue where to go from here.

Outside of that I don't know enough to really help anyone. Not sure if this was said before or not, but anyways, an very small improvement (IMHO), would be to add the REWIND and FFWD PNGs to your main scene instead of 'gameplay' scene so what is supposed to be an OSD from the VHS era do not get distorted by the VHS shader (which even if it looks nice, it kind of don't make sense)

Whenever I start OBS Studio now - the consumed RAM ( about 10 Gigs) from my 2x16 GByte RAM is enough to make the Mouse Cursor unavailable to move for a short duration. This comes in like every minute. To go for sure my PC is not bad at all - I've hav 32 GB RAM with a frequency of 3600 MHz. a 3060 RTX Ti a Ryzen 9 3900X running on a system with M.2 SSD 1 TB So do have anyone similar problems and maybe got a solution for that?

I’m having an issue with this. It seen to work fine but lots of time I noted my game is streaming in delayed and the problem is that this plugin keep on bringing my video to 10 seconds behind without me pressing any buttons nor shortcut. Hmm I am having a little trouble getting the hotkey options for the the Dynamic Delay plugin to appear in the menu. I am using my source as a VIDEO CAPTURE DEVICE > Elgato hd60 s+ ...I even made an NDI source to see if that can be my alternative. However, both methods failed. I really enjoyed the video!! I have been using a Replay Setup for a while but this spin on it is pretty sweet. I do have a question for you regarding replay captures, which might be something you can answer or explore for a future video. I have my replay buffer set to 32secs, just to get the lead up to a solid clip. But recently I have been trying to create or record shorter in-game clips to capture a 5, 8, or even 10 sec moment in the game. The issue is no matter what timer i setup in TP i still end up with a 30 sec clip. Would this be something better done/triggered in Streamer.Bot or is it a Touch Portal possibility....? Maybe something more replated to the Replay source Plugin for OBS?

Would using the dynamic delay filter to add delay to my entire scene be a stable way to create a stream delay when playing a competitive game so I don’t have to restart the stream? Or will leaving it running with a 30 second delay for about an hour add extra work load to the encoder? Appreciate you!

Amazing stuff... really clever. I have everything working fine, however not long after using it at least once my computer locks up. No idea why. I have 32gb (i'm not even streaming as i'm still testing) 5900X CPU and 2070 Super. So not sure what is going on. Any ideas?

So turning on game mode again and stopping my replay buffer seemed to do the trick. However when i fast forward, after a rewind, i always seem to have to fast forward again whaty looks like an extra second or two for it to catch up to real time. Will continue to test. again this is all offstream so will be interesting to try on stream.

Did you double check that your scenes are properly nested? (shown in the first segment of the video, it's what allows the scene to be stored and player over the top of the live acting video)

Hey there. Did anyone found a solution to the gpu overload? normal my gpu ist streaming + gaming in nvenc around 45% usage (rtx 3070) when i Tab out of the game and then switch scene it often happen that the gpu run up to 99% But Only when i tabbed out of the game and then switch scene. When i stay inside of the game and change scene nothing happen. @nutty maybe it is because the most game limit the fps for application in background so the delay buffer is not able to push the video into then ram properly?`because if the game is in vsync and i am in game the 60 fps is constant and dynamic delay plungin do not have any problems. So my only workaround is: when i want to switch scenes, i have to stay inside of the game (thats not a big problem cause of touch portal) But my hardware should have no problem ... rtx 3070 ryzen 3950x 64GB Ram So it is a limitation maybe of the combination. I know I could use a different, regular hotkey, but how do I assign Fn13-24 keys as hotkeys in OBS if my keyboard does not have those Fn keys? I'd love to have some virtual Fn hotkeys that I can assign in other apps ... how did Nutty assign Fn14 and Fn15 in OBS when his keyboard does not have those keys? I have remapped F1-F12 in a temporary profile in my keyboard software so I can assign them in OBS quickly, but is there an easier way?

In Touch Portal you don't need your keyboard to assign them. You can use the Touch Portal button by clicking on it to on your mobile to assign them in OBS.

Nutty, I seem to have been able to get the filters and delays for this working on the stream deck mobile app- just need to add sound FX. Any reason why streamdeck wasn’t a recommended option?

I'll touch on it briefly next week, but the main issue is the Stream Deck software puts a 100ms delays between *every* action and there's no way to remove it.

it does not rewind when I'm in-game, it only does the glitch sound and all aside from rewind. Unless I alt-tab out of the game and press it, only then it will rewind. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. any idea why this is happening? or do I really need to alt-tab out of the game and then press rewind

Check your hotkeys in OBS. It sounds like you have the touchportal macro set to F14 F15 but OBS hotkeys set to something else because you don't have an F14 F15 button :P
