Just because you're not Norm Abrams doesn't mean you suck. The table is really nice. Great job. Can't wait to see the upgrades.

HA! Now there's a name I haven't heard in forever. I used to watch that show and be awed by the work they did and now I'm glad I get a chance to give it a try.

Good fun seeing the real labor and time spent building anything. Not a entertainment only focused video. Much prefer this to that. If it were my project I'd have slipped cripple studs between the top and bottom on the inside of the legs and from the bottom shelf to floor. Overkill and more wood but then you can park a truck on it. Very sound build without. Construction wood looks amazing here. Gonna be a really useful bench.

Have been looking at out feed/work tables to build for my shop. Simple yet best design I’ve seen! Will be building one like yours, adding lifting casters. Great video and build

My back is aching right now and couldn't lift more than 10 % of my weight but seeing this video made my pain lesser. I am here in the Philippines and surely the current weather wont freeze any of those Titebonds. That is sheer muscle power man! Enjoyed the vid until the end. We both have the same saw and yeah its a great PM saw!!!

Nice, I like it! Very close to what I have in mind but with lock-down casters and match up with a DeWalt 7491RS jobsite table saw that rolls and stows away in a minimal space when not in use. You made it simple, overly sturdy/stable right up front, easy to expand and accessorize...smart! - New Subscriber

Thanks! it's simple and very very stable when i put projects on it but can be moved around since i put casters on it.

Nice build. I like the L corner legs which everything stems from. If I do it I will probably laminate the two tops together, and just use pocket screw joinery underneath to attach the top(s) to the base. Casters with wheels would be good, but you'd have to cut it down now. Picturing you doing that ;-)

This is a great little table. Any chance you would be willing to post the plans? I'm a newb and not so confident planning one of these out.

First part of video I thought I hit the wrong button😊. Very nice work table. It’s similar to mine but I used heavy duty casters with brakes. Man! am I glad I did. Moving it is a breeze. Your starting to not suck so much at wood work now. 😁😁 H P P Y. N E W Y E A R ! ! $ 🍾🥂🎉

I just bought the wood for this project and am hoping you can provide some measurements for me. Length and width etc. Height I’ll do to my table saw measurements. As well, you trimmed the legs to what size? Thanks in advance!
@GearheadDaily4 жыл бұрын
total width is 50x98 and legs are 2x6, one side trimmed to 4" so its a square 5.5"

Gearhead Daily perfect! Thanks for getting back to me so quickly although I used it as an excuse to lie on the couch. Now I gotta get up I guess!

@@grahamkechnie209 LOL good luck! Make sure to make the base smaller than the top so you can have a lip to clamp things to. Very worth it.

what size is the plywood for the shelf and the top mdf

3x7 I think, but cut down to fit just right, you'll have to measure.
