Four years ago, i buy the company for whom i worked. a small company 4 employees, 230000€ turnover, with debt , workers problem, no cash. I did it because, first i didnt want to lose my job, second i wanted to develop something big . I told to my collegue , i wanted to be first on my country. Today , I reach 1 million euros turnover, 30 employees. And my goal is to achieve 10 millions. It would be hard, stressfull , but possible. From the beginning, ifollow the same way, the same thinking as mr Sinclair.

@@mikemike5973 unfortunately not, to increase my turnover, i had to invest. So my net profit is low. And what i earn ,Each year, i invest my net profit in the company.

30 employees and a turnover of 1 million euros... hmmm... surely making no profit
@MrJeffHead

@@amazonthings2497 depends how many of those are full time / part time. Also depends what country its in as wages vary a lot throughout Europe. I run a business with 25 staff doing under a mil turnover but its not dropped below £100k EBITDA in years.

James i know you love intertwining your businesses how come rossi doesn't have a teddy bear? A rossi rabbit mascot would work so well on every rossi tub and pack of sweets
@bigdento
@bigdento 6 ай бұрын
could donate thousands of rossi rabbits to every childrens hospital in the southend area alongside lifesize mascots that hand out sweets and ice cream, the lifelong association between their childhood teddy and the rossi rabbit would really bring in a whole new generation of kids who know the rossi brand

@JamesSinclairEntrepreneur 6 ай бұрын
If people wanted them we’d sell them. My predecessors tried to sell them, we still have teddy bears with rossi branding on. It’s hard to sell branded gear!
@bigdento
@bigdento 6 ай бұрын
@@JamesSinclairEntrepreneur Ah that makes sense, i meant more like building a rossi rabbit character that is instantly recognisable and growing the character through charitable means rather than selling the branded teddies only, would it be possible to put a QR code on the ice cream tub to win a giant rossi rabbit or gift hamper? make it so you need to enter your email to check if you won, you could gather the emails from all the people who buy your ice cream that way similar to how cadburys does on their wrappers purely to collect more customer data at very little cost? give everyone who didn't win a consolation prize of a 20% off voucher to your day parks or something along those lines?

James on a ice cream podcast you say Milkshakes are not vatable Is that milkshakes that contain ice cream say 2 scoops plus milk Or the instant ones
@JamesSinclairEntrepreneur
@JamesSinclairEntrepreneur 6 ай бұрын
Milk based drinks that are not hot, are zero rated. So a cold milky coffee for takeaway is zero rated. Drinking it in an establishment makes it vatable. So a milk shake - made with ice cream and milk sold for takeaway is zero rated. Thanks
