I am confused and I think I did something wrong because it only gives the item to the player when the game is joined, not right after the purchase, or after a reset.

Hi @SeyoryoPlays-q5d, thank you for letting me know about your problem. What most likely is the problem is the fact that the tool is in the StarterPack, which does as what you have described. To fix this, move the tool underneath the script within the ServerScriptService, as I have done at 3:00.

This is very strange, though, because when I try it on my side for a new game, it works fine. Could I have access to a roblox studio file where you experience this issue so I can have a better idea about what the problem is and how can I fix it on my end?

@@NuttyShenanigans Thank you for giving me a roblox studio file to see what the problem was. It was very helpful and I found the problem. The problem was the script code. I have fixed it in the description. Copy and paste the script code from the description into the script and it should work. Also, I noticed that you spent robux in the video from the other comment. Know that this is not needed if you test it on Roblox Studio, allowing you to purchase gamepasses without charge as a test purchase.

Hi @FootballFactsss, thank you for letting me know about your issue. The most likely reason for your problem is the fact that you used the wrong gamepass ID: make sure that you copy the second number in the URL, not the first, as shown in the video (1:55). Alternatively, you can find the gamepass in the gamepasses tab and copy its ID from there. Please let me know if this works.

Hi @bryanlee-m6t, thank you for letting me know about your problem. Having an issue show up when you having requested to purchase the gamepass after creating it is normal because you are the owner of the gamepass, and so inherently already own it. I talk about it in the video's reflection at 3:30.

Hi @vito3232, thank you for letting me know about your issue. This error message is most likely given when you have incorrectly put in the gamepass ID, so make sure you have copied the right ID. You can find it with the second number in the URL of the gamepass (1:55). You can also copy it from the gamepass dashboard after finding the details of the wanted gamepass using the three dots. Hi @hi-el5qz, thank you for your comment. You do not need to publish a game before making a gamepass. However, you do need to save the place so you can see it on the creator dashboard.

Hi @Nothing.i1, thank you for your comment. For my scripts, you need to put the tool in the script under the ServerScriptService, which is why it doesn't work when you put the tool in the ServerStorage. You can see me doing this at 3:00.
