Looks good. But I always cut some slits in the meat with a small knife and poke the whole cloves of garlic down into the roast! Yummy! Thanks for sharing your video!!♡♡♡

Unless you cut the thing open, we have no clue how well that turned out. This is TOTALLY different than how I cook a prime rib roast and I have no idea if this will work.

I agree! She should have cut it open. I would not go by her instructions if she can't even let us see how the inside turned out.

Here is my pro tip Turn on your oven to MAX 550F Take meat salt. pepper Place meat on a wired pan Pre-Heat oven to MAX 550F yup to on your oven to M A X Now place meat in the oven After 15 mins TURN OFF OVEN, AND NEVER EVER OPEN THE OVEN DOOR - NOT EVEN TO CHECK ON IT - time 20 mins per pound 3 Pounds 60mins then open oven door Let it sit - if you just take it out of then oven and cut into it your plate will be full of juice and your meat will be drier than a nuns.....

The intermediate melted butter step is not intelligent. It does nothing but waste butter. It's not like the meat can soak up melted butter like a sponge in such a short time frame. 95% of that melted butter instantly falls off the meat to the bottom of the pan where it burns. If you want to butter baste, it would make more sense to apply the melted butter with a brush. Also, putting whole garlic on top of the roast is not something I would do. I would rather mince it, add it to that melted butter, and brush it on. What ever bits of garlic are left over can be evenly applied to the top of the meat. Or even better, I would make a 1 and half inch deep incision with a Parry Knife in the meat and bury those garlic cloves in the roast. Any whose, this is a good start to making roast if you are new.

@WEZ41364 ай бұрын
If I see a video where the person saying this is how you cook this and they don’t cut into the meat at the end they have either overcooked the life out of it or it’s still raw, either way it’s not a recipe that I would ever follow.
