Great tutorial as always, when I get overload like that with Diva I press the multicore button on the top, wish I could have it on as default
@reorderdj Жыл бұрын
Yeah I thought about it after the video. But keeping it on draft is the best when you have many divas on top
@Screaming-Trees Жыл бұрын
If you click on the Multicore button (next to the output knob) that should fix your cracks and pops on big polyphonic patches assuming this is an intel x86 machine (mac or pc). I can get 32 voices of polyphony on even my old 2012 macbook pro with multicore enabled. On the new M1 macs you need the Clap version of the plugin to make use of the multicore feature.

I have mac studio, but I guess recording and running other things in the background just made it glitch. I kept it as a good learning thing. The multicore is great as I can run several divine diva instances in my project but not everyone has beast mac or pc 🫶🏻

Adam Szabo JP6K is a good alternative VSTi for this kind of sound.

Niceeee. Turn on multicore function for cpu it really helps reducing it
@reorderdj Жыл бұрын
I don’t know why but on my mac it doesn’t do it at all. But it happened while Recording 🤣
@sirwanmusic Жыл бұрын
Oh :D On my pc somtimes cpu peaks around 90% when i turn this on become 40 or 30% 🥲

@@sirwanmusic I usually turn multicolore on. In this simpler sound I thought it will not be needed 🤣

Wait. You were playing the lead from Ferry's Out of the Blue. I thought that was created with a Roland JD 800? If I could pull that out of Diva I'd be overjoyed. Okay, I typed too soon. Facepalm.

@@reorderdjTheres a story about Out of The Blue. Around 2001 our Atlanta promoter owned Liquified, and he had an arrangement with all the top Trance DJs that when they played the States, they would always fly into Atlanta because it is a hub, and they would play a one off set at eleven50 (Now Opera) on a week night. And when Ferry came he would be inundated with requests for The Adagio to the point that he grew sick of playing it, and would play Out of The Blue instead. The funny thing is most people confused it with the Adagio and were satisfied that he had played their request. And he got a kick out of that. Are any rate, he was a great guy. Always smiling. Never teainwrecked once to my knowledge. And I saw him a couple dozen times. Those were great nights. Would love to see you in Atlanta sometime.
