You guys are funny. Since when it became Ukrainian? It was a french souse in the beginning, then it came as a salad to Russian Empire during Ekaterina II ruling. Even Pushkin and Gogol mentioned this dish. Just do some research before saying that. Ukraine still have very good kitchen personally I love it.
