RECIPE
1 bag of Harvest Fresh Spinach
2 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, sliced thinly
1 tsp chilli fakes
8 slices of white toast bread
8 slices of Prosciutto
4 slices of smoked Havarti Cheese
2 tablespoon of unsalted butter
Salt to taste
In a pan heat up some olive oil and add garlic and chilli flakes, cook until garlic slices turn slightly brown. Add in a bag of harvest fresh spinach, salt and cook until spinach has wilted and the excess water has reduced. About 5 minutes. Set cooked spinach aside.
Heat up another pan and add the prosciutto slices and cook as you would bacon, cooking until golden and crispy. Remove once crisp and drain excess oil on an absorbent paper towel.
Take a slice of bread, add a slice of smoked havarti cheese, some spinach and the crispy prosciutto and top with bread slice. Continue using up equal parts for the remaining sandwiches. In a hot pan, add butter and melt sandwiches until golden and crisp on each side. Use a spatula to flatten the sandwich and make more crispy. Flip and do the same on the other side. Once both sides are crispy and golden they are ready, serve immediately.
