You forgot to screw on the cap of the sushi bazooka after closing the bazooka. Then, when the cap is on, as you screw in the plunger, all the rice inside gets compressed and the roll is formed. I have used my sushi bazooka many times and it makes perfect rolls even without greasing. The only hard part is closing it because the hinges do come apart like it happened to you.

Thanks for this recipe, I made the "crab salad" using the tofu only thing I added fresh lime, cayenne pepper and kelp flakes, onion and bell peppers to it and it was so good. Really enjoyed this one
@welldonewit51292 жыл бұрын
I for sure recommend seasoning the tofu and hearts of palm and adding those extra like a little jalapeno, carrot shreds, cucumber, I've had green pepper in a veggie roll, seaweed salad, asparagus, vegan cream cheese if you have one you like, a little wasabi and Sriracha vegan mayo drizzle on top. You don't have to do all of those bc I've for sure eaten seasoned sushi rice in nori alone rolls, but just know you can use any of those ingredients. I've even sliced king oyster mushrooms and seasoned them for the meat and it was so so good

Thanks for the video, I'm totally going to try this but without the bazooka, lol. Btw, avocados are more affordable if you buy bags: "Small Hass Avocado, 5-6 Count Bag $2.48" When I was buying individually, I only got them if they were on sale for less than $1 each because it's a major disappointment when you get a bad one after spending a lot for it. Tbh I skipped over this video originally but then after watching a few others I came back to yours and saw that I was subscribed, there must have been a reason.
