Been struggling with a specific set of vocals, decided to see if this would work as a starting point. Very happy! I owned, but hadn't been using Pro-C 2 until now but that is what seemed to make the biggest difference in 'crisp, cleanliness' for me. Thanks for the tips.

I think after mixing for so long the chain sage audios is so different I usually do a corrective and subtractive eq then tape saturation for harmonics Then serial compression on vocals then a tonality eq for warm ness and saturation effects last But this is definitely interesting to see with a short reverb and delay than adding a longer one I usually automate it for a longer delay

I got a question, could't you just use a noise gate instead of cutting out the quiet parts (Which possibly got some mic noise in them)? Because that would save time for sure, but is it as clean?
@Dave-Rough-Diamond-Dunn

I do, and it seems to work pretty well, but if you have to raise the threshold to cover bumps and louder background noises rather than just hum or hiss it might become noticeable.

I have a question, when I see videos and your videos they always say "add warmth" and boost some "bass-ish" part of the vocal, BUT! when I listen to the song, they have NO bass-ish warmth at all, like they all sound like they cut specially all those "harmonics" so, my question is, why? and why in the "tutorial/how to" videos they say "add or boost the warmth/lower part"? not a clue if I explained myself.

Is using Chorus effect with dry/wet tweaking similar to applying short reverberation methodology? Just wondering if it makes any difference! Cos, I achieve this subtle wideness through Chorus plugins.

Also, how much dBs do you attenuate while limiting vocal at the end of your chain? I saw yours was crushing like 7dBs down.
