Hi Lindsay. How many times can I use the Kefier grains. If I soak them, then strain, feed with sugar and add water, how long before I need to replace the grains. Thank you

You can use them forever. They keep replicating new ones. The dead ones will float and you can just remove those. But if taken care of properly they will keep going on and on 🙂

Wow. Thats incredible. If I wanted to double the qty I am making as my family absolutely loves it. Do I then get some more? Or just wait for the grains to multiply?

Hello..Thank you for the information Can you make kefir water without sugar? For better health

Hi, the grains need to sugar to feed on. They eat it up. You can use coconut water as well. But without some sort of sugar the grains will die. The end product can be as sweet or not sweet as you like. Literally can turn almost into wine if you leave it long enough so there won't be any sugar left. Hope that helps!

I tried Baking Soda and sugar instead of molasses. It came out clear with a neutral flavor. Added some ginger bug and looking forward to tasting it. Not in favor of molasses. Found the baking soda makes the growth explode.
