I'm surprised by how much color the watermelon juice held. I don't know why, but I thought it was more clear. Bet it tastes great with that shine in it. The Still in the Clear channel has great info on calculating the grain bill for a DIY mash. I've never looked at their flavored recipes though.

Is it really homemade bbq sauce if the first ingredient is a bottle of commercial bbq sauce? I feel let down by the fact it's just watermelon juice mixed with moonshine, rather than a full on brewed...😢

Watermelon moonshine is just golden grain with a few now and later dissolved in it.

Last year I made a watermelon/suger wash and fermented it and ran … after it ran I didn’t like the taste it made .. so I just put it up and forgot about it until a few weeks ago .. it’s awesome now. Has a faint watermelon smell and taste. Wander why it took almost a year to become what it is now ?

You never can predict what some of these things will do. There are so many variables to distilling that perhaps it just needed time to mature, kind of like vegetable plants and children.

Next time use Simply watermelon juice. Much faster and tastes the same

I magine its good. I'm not gonna knock that part..but that is a cocktail not a distilled jar of watermelon shine..but like I said I ain't knocking it..just trying to find a good recipe for watermelon mash for actual destilation if anyone knows of one

It is very tasty in my mind it is shine just like apple pie moonshine and yes it is a cocktail too I guess as long its good lol
