Great question! We usually wait around a minute, that’s not a big deal. Most important part is to smooth the air bubbles out of the laminate and preferably overlap the edge slightly. Good luck! 🍀

is it possible to lay the laminate paper over the design before you cut them out with the cricut

Yes that’s another option. I specifically chose not to do that though because the laminate will stop at the edges and water could seep in. I over covered it so that wouldn’t happen if that makes sense.
