Growing a successful Amazon business isn’t as easy as it seems.
Lauren Stark runs business strategy for mDesign, one of the largest home storage brands on Amazon. The business had $310 million in sales last year, according to the company.
“Find a product that works for you, that you’re passionate about, that you can tell a story about,” Stark said. She recommends business owners take advantage of the tools and resources Amazon has to offer.

I started and sold 3 businesses on Amazon. All I can say is don’t get into it unless you have something truly unique and/or better,or your just wasting time trying to hear well established brands..

I have to disagree. You dont have to be unique or better. There is nothing wrong with doing something the same as someone else with the hopes of making a profit. I started my amazon business and what I do is nothing unique or different from the next guy. I will say that my amazon business is a side hustle. It does 4k in gross sales per month and thats more than I ever thought it could be LOL. I know it doesnt sound like a lot but for me to start this with 2k investment and it generates 4k per month white labeling a product is amazing. You dont have to be reinvent the wheel or be better than the next person

@@Tkenny35 I’ve sold 2 FBA businesses in the past. I agree with you except I’d add sometimes it’s not worth the stress like I was dealing with having competitors leaving fake reviews that Amazon didn’t care to help me remove.

Amazing is a ripoff. If you didn't start 10 years ago, you gave no chance no. Saturated with Chinese brands. Amazon squeezes every dime out of you, you need to pay them to advertise. It's really a big scam.
