Если хочешь заглушить звук в двухтактном двигателе, надо глушить карбюратор! На впуске звук сопоставим с выхлопом. Надо или делать настроенный впуск с лепестковым клапаном, или играть с фазами газораспределения. Но если хочешь получить максимальную мощность с двухтактного двигателя, то тишины не будет!

You mean like a glass packed muffler? Definitely helps with the high frequency noise. Baffled chambers like this are generally good for the low frequency noise. If you really know what you're doing, you go further with it by orienting the baffles in order to cause destructive interference within the baffled chambers (which is then called a resonator). But that is neither cheap nor easy to design.

I'm more of a lay person so I'm trying to figure out a way to modify a toro weed Wacker muffler to fit my echo cause those Toro mufflers are super quiet. Just in FYI there's a big demand for silencers or any kind of quiet modification for gas equipment there's a large renegade band of people with gasoline-powered equipment that are not gonna let it go no matter what law is in place

Small 2t motors with pumper carbs like these don't really use jets that you can swap out, instead there's a low and high mixture screw. Super easy to tune idle and WOT

Indeed, but pay attention that the insulation material (I would use mineral wool) must be sufficiently dense so that the sound pressure waves are reduced in speed. I expect much larger noise reduction.

Хорошая попытка, но результат так себе. А главное, что бензокоса изначально не для того, чтобы полчаса хреначить, терзая уши соседей! Она для того, чтобы подрезать края вдоль дорожек и заборов, это примерно минут 5. Остальную работу должна делать нормальная четырехтактная косилка на колесиках, звук от которой мягко говоря менее раздражающий, а производительность и качество работы в разы выше.

Это подобие автомобильного резонатора, к тому же очень неудачное, конструкция этого якобы глушителя не очень повлияет на шум, но из-за напирания отработанных газов сушественно снизит мощность и без того слабого двигателя, а также повысит расход топлива ( это уже давно проверено) дайте знать, кому нужно действительно тихий выхлоп, без потери мощности и повышения расхода топлива...

@@Берегитеприроду-э2щ берём трубу подходящего диаметра, насверливаем в ней отверстий диаметром 5-6 мм как можно больше ( чем меньше глушитель или резонатор, тем меньше диаметр отверстий) на всю длину насверленной трубы делаем корпус (глушителя или резонатора) и между корпусом и насверленной трубой забиваем базальтовый утеплитель или иной не горючий материал. Если по этому принципу делать глушитель, то получится прямоток немного громче чем заводской глушитель, но это будет Прямоток, если делать резонатор, то на выходе получится звук тише и ( мягче) чем заводской глушитель, из за того, что на пути отработавших газов нет препятствий, то и напирание этих газов меньше, соответственно двигателю легче крутиться...

i'm doing it for a dirtbike, but use steel wool and glassfiber, and at each step the total hole diameter should be bigger than the pipe you attach it to, the inside should be empty and the between should be with first steel wool then glassfibre also, use rubber gasket when mounting the exhaust to the frame, no rattling
