Doctor D.S. its struggling for air intake because you fucked up the back pressure. I did this last year using a high performance scooter muffler on one of my husquaverna trimmers and after tinkering with a few things like a larger fuel line that is braided stainless steel, opened up the air intake and installed a multistage/terminal spark plug and put a crossdrilled saw blade and aluminum chain saw blade(2) and I use it on jobs where I'm clearing out high brush/thicket. People ask me a lot "wtf is that?" Lol. Works really good for what I use it for.

@@ksich8142 no. That is maybe the general idea of that a muffler is the box at the end of the exhaust. A muffler is technically a silencer or something to reduce noice. When you are talking about making it louder you are using a resonator made specifically to make the noise louder, as a normal resonator is made to make it less loud.

The new muffler you made is more like silencer for 4 stroke engine. I believe your engine is 2 stroke. In 2 stroke engine you need resonance chamber before the silencer, otherwise your fuel consumption will be higher and your engine will loose power at certain rpm.

That exhaust will burn the piston out in a season of regular use. 2 stroke motors need specific exhaust if they don’t have expansion chambers

That exhaust is not a bad idea at all! It will definitely get the heat out of that cylinder better than the stock can ever will. Might be slightly louder but it will help the engine last longer as long as the carb gets adjusted after the mod to compensate for the better flow.

Good job. The 2 things i have to comment about. 1 surface prep, grind the paint or rust off. 2 do an undercut when grinding so when you weld it fills the groove. this makes a stronger bond and wont be removed when grinding away excess. good job once again

the shanks are made of thinner sheet metal. The idea may be good, but it is not an industrial ending. the mower has an additional load of at least 2.5 kg.

Exhausts designs are governed by a lower and upper limits at the factory. Its not just a matter of drilling holes in a pipe and making one in the shed. If a system allows too much free flow then fuel economy suffers with less power output. If it is constricted then the engine will overheat, so the engineers tune exhaust systems to suit specific applications. It is best to fit factory exhaust systems, and you can get aftermarket "silent" types for most small engines.

The fuel mixture is way off now maybe a smaller pipe with a smooth transition to expansion chamber would give you the performance your looking for. But that engine does not have the displacement for you current set up

Поздравляю, стало тише на 01% + тяжелее + замучишься чистить. Взми простой баллон воздухоочистителя, и трубку(можно сварить из жестянки) больше диаметром выхлопной чтобы надевалась и фиксировалась сбоку болтом, можно металлический хомут что на патрубках в машине, тогда на трубе пропели щели для сжима трубы. Далее: на этой трубе сверлишь отверстия по размеру баллона и загоняй трубку в баллон по краям для фиксации хомуты. Вот и всё. Сгорит баллон, заменить нет проблем. Чем длиннее, больше в диаметре баллон, тем тише, но вывод газов замедлится, а это потеря мощности и образование нагара. Тогда придётся ставить турбину. Лучще от феррари или болида F1, но тогда тебе понадобиться костюм космонавта с кислородными баллонами и якорь для остановки. Удачи. Музон прикольный👍🔥

Nicely done... I was thinking of changing a better muffler on my brush cutter, but I lack the tools and skills of welding 😁. BTW, should always set the camera with the brighter side behind the camera. With the camera in your workshop facing outside, what's being focus in the works appears darker and lost resolution. Anyway thumb up for sharing this.
