Fantastic! I've used the rubber eraser to assist removal of my 2010 Rpod decals that are disintegrating from sun exposure. The heat gun doesn't work once decals are this far gone. Also only used plastic scraper to avoid gouging fiberglass.

Oscillating tool with a scraper blade, saves hours, no scratches on the paint and the residue comes off too. I learned the hard way after trying all the other things.

That interesting to see how you get the decals of buses. I’ve seen people spend three or four days buff with pads on drills and sand off and it just seemed there should be a better way. And those doing buses should watch your videos like I comment to them to do. You the man on bus building . Good job on the bus so far your moving along like a wild guy on it 😃😃.

Dawn dish soap, vinegar and water 1/3rds ration is the best degreaser. It smells terrible but spray it on leave it for 15 min to and hour then rinse and wipe it off or what not. It eats glue off also.

The eraser wheel works really well if the decals are all dried and cracked up bad. If the decals are in pretty good shape still (Like they still have some flex/stretch in them) then a heat gun is the way to go. Also, afer the head gun, the eraser wheel does work well to get the glue left behind off.

Nice job on your video. Just wanted to add what I have done on my 'shorty' - - took it to commercial truck wash and they power washed all decals off and washed the bus ($35.00). I paid a visit to my local State Police to inquire what was needed to be legal (here in Texas). They said 1. Yellow paint is fine 2. Remove all decals - when I mentioned the shadow left on the paint they said "no problem: law only says to remove decals not any need to paint" 3. Remove Red lens from the front of the bus (I just made a swap with two Amber lens in the rear of the bus). I used Acetone to remove the last of the 'glue'. Happy motoring!!
