Me and my ex broke up 2 months ago and she already started sleeping with other dudes and we were together for 2 1/2 years. Lol. Pretty sure I did it all. NC broke it a couple times to see if they were willing to give it another try, she didn’t pay her or her daughters phone bill cut off the phones, she left her dog with me I told her I’m not her dog sitter and to come get her dog or I’m keeping him. Yup she’s gone NC for 7 months and nothing. I miss her but I understand what I did and I’m moving on not expecting her to come back. Not good. But you did the right thing by rejecting his friendship. Since your ex has the "Grass is Greener" Syndrome, realize and accept that this is outside your control and really the best you can do is becoming the best version of yourself and vibrate higher, which means NOT taking less than what you deserve and not settling to just becoming an option, especially if this used to be a stable relationship between you two. Most of the time, a lot of people would move on, but a few would still fight for the relationship, so this all depends which side you're on and what your views are. If she's easily influenced, her feelings for you may not have been that strong. Depending on what really cut the relationship short, it may be time to consider moving on from this. But don't rush. Always take the time to give each other space first, all right? Do a minimum of 3 weeks of "no contact" and see if you still want your ex and if your ex is receptive to contact AFTER that period. I really hate to burst your bubble here but let him finish whatever unfinished business he has with this ex. Sorry, but there's not much you can do at this point, especially if your relationship only lasted a short while and more so if he’s seemingly (subconsciously or not) used you as a rebound, for your ex to jump back too quickly with her. Thank you - me too, although I’m in no rush! That’s exactly what I’m doing - leaving them to it. In our brief conversation we had when I caught him with her in public, he said they had ‘unresolved issues’. I may very well have been his rebound. Stings like hell, especially as he never mentioned any issues, or an ex and I have no idea of their history or how they reconnected. We seemed to be well connected and built a strong friendship first, over time. It’s quite awkward, he stares and looks a bit embarrassed, the few times our paths have crossed. I appear indifferent. I’ve healed a lot and feel weirdly stronger, despite the initial pain. Not sure at this point if I would want him back. NC really is the way and for indefinite! Thank you for all you do😊

Not necessarily although sometimes that is the case. As tough as it may be, it's always best to come to terms with the breakup and the fact that you're both single now. You doing the "no contact" rule neither prevents nor encourages your ex to go with someone new. In other words there's really nothing you can do to keep your ex from getting with someone new if they want to. This is something I've mentioned here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYelYZKia5WGpq8 So it boils down to two options, really. 1. Employ no contact and keep your dignity while respecting your ex's decision to breakup (why push yourself to someone who doesn't want you?) or Option 2: Do not do no contact and be pathetic. I always advise people to choose option 1 but really, which option you choose is ultimately up to you.

I watch these videos for comic relief. I can't believe anyone believes this. First and most importantly you are an EX because one party wanted to END the relationship. I've been on both sides. I never wanted to go back to an ex because ofthe reasons he became an ex and I'm sure it was the same when I was the dumpee. after 40 years of marriage I was widowed. I had a friends with benefits relation with a long time friend and widower. He met someone he liked better, dumped me in the rudest way possible and now we are no longer friends. Sad part is I lost contact with his family. Hi! Thanks for your comment and I'm glad you're amused. As a relationship coach for more than a decade, I say everyone has different reasons for wanting an ex back. A lot of the clients I've coached wanted to try to give it one last shot so they can move on without regrets or wondering about the what-ifs, particularly if it was a significant relationship to them. To clarify, it's not an ex (who dumped you) wanting you back but rather the dumpee giving it their last shot. Also, most cases are not related to cheating and it's what my tips are mainly about. It's a no-brainer that if you got cheated on, most people would just move on. Take care!
