Might be a dumb question but how did you get a hard copy of the zine yourself? Did you have to buy one and amazon print them? When people buy one is it just a digital zine or do amazon print these as hard copies? I am really wanting to get started on my own photography zine but confused and the internet is full of different information! not sure on the softwares whether they produce just digital zines or actually printed ones, Thanks!!!

Hey Jacob, thanks for the vid! I am on my way to create my photobook, or the first one. To be honest I tried and did some Blurb magazines and even though they are great, the biggest issue here as you point out is the PDF creation. I use an old computer with Lightroom 3 (enough for my needs) and I can't create a PDF out of LR3, so I used Blurb's editor and even thought it is great to fantastic you are handcuffed to their site. And it pisses me off bananas. I mean, c'mon. I created a PDF, let me use it. But you can't. This is a 160 pages thing. So I have to re-do it all over again and also I'm using double page images so yeah sucks big time. So yeah no idea what would I do, I mean i wanna do it affordable also. Not interested in KDP as it seems to not take double page images as a chance and formats aren't what I want. So let's see, I'd keep exploring.

Did you try using Google Slides like I walked through in the video? That was the easiest method I found, and you should have no issue using it on an old computer since it's browser based. Hopefully that will do the trick for you!
