We moved in last year December, and the walls were like pancake yellow. . I'm so happy with my accomplishment this month I changed and painted the walls pewter grey, and white for the trims ( I learned that from you ) I love it., There's more light, and the space looks more cozzy and spacious! I changed the kitchen cabinets paint as well from deep brown, to pearl white 🤍 😍 I put waterproof oil proof contact paper over kitchen tiles and It lookssss so amazing with all this little changes, ❣️ it so cozy here now it's really calm, minimalist. I learned all the idea watching you.

Great tip as usual Kristen. I have a queen bed and use king size comforters or duvets. Love when they hang off making the bed look full and comfy ❤️❤️ the tip of spray the surface with the same candle smell is great idea I usually get the those tiny sprays from BBW.

You should get smart plugs for your lamps so you don’t need to turn them all on individually, you can set them all to turn on at sunset every day

I actually enjoy going around turning on every lamp 😁, but for those who don’t, smart plugs are very useful. I do have a remote for all the outside Christmas lights.

I came here to say this! Creating a smart home with smart plugs, lights, and automations has made my home feel so much cozier. Warm moody lights on command, soft Christmas music playing in the kitchen when I get up, my tea kettle automatically preparing my morning tea...it's amazing!

Great vlog Kristen. We recently got some lamps for our living room and we had the plugs converted so they can be switched on at the wall. The room feels instantly cosy with the lamps on. We rarely use the ceiling spots now. We also have purchased two rugs for the same room and they also make the room feel more warm. Would also recommend a beautiful throw for the spare bed. It will also help to keep dust off the duvet and sheets when the bed isn’t being used.

I have a similar basket under my bedside table where I keep my slippers, a pair of slipper socks to use if I feel really cold, and two pairs of everyday shoes. I need to do the front hall thing as well.

I prefer a hanging shoe organizer on the inside of my coat closet. That way the shoes aren't piled on top of each other, making each other dirty and smelly.

I love the remote control candles. Thanks for the tip. Point and click instead of going around and turning on 20 little switches. I use my candles so much more. OmG those artificial candles have blown my mind. I can't believe how realistic they are. Right now I think they would come in handy in my living room since we are trying to find new ways to make it "cozier".
