I still use the ringtone that was used in the original iPhone commercial that never came standard with the iPhone. Downloaded it somewhere, I think it is a Nokia ring or something. Have always used that with my first iPhone (iPhone 3G). Finding and installing ringtones was a thing 10 or 15 year ago. My preference is a simple business like tone. The old Cingular ringtone is also a classic .

Yes I always turn that off change with buttons, it happened to often it would turn the ring tone down or even the alarm ring tone, this way it will not be affected when you turn the volume down for an app or media.

In my iphone 7 plus, the "Adjust with buttons" function does not work. I disable the button but both goes up and down together. I don't know if it is due to the ios version. My version works quite the reverse. They are independent if I enable it.

@@Flamingskull090 Hello and thanks for the reply but my remark was not not on the volume but on the other function you explained. Disabling the "Adjust with buttons" does not work on my iphone 7plus. On the contrary, it works if you enable it to separate ring volume and music volume

@@Flamingskull090 Thats not what he is talking about, he wants to turn off adjust with buttons, so that he doesnt turn down the ringer volume by accident when adjusting the volume for an app or media. It has nothing to do with attention awareness :)

Thats the problem w/c iphone cant solve, the volume of their notification.if you have any iphone in ur pocket u always check it if theres a cal or message coz u cant hear it.iphone must hired chinese to increase their volume.
