Here's a little tip: Everyone applies the concealer in the parting on top of the lace. I on the other hand, apply my concealer UNDER the lace before applying the wig! I liberally wet my brush first, then I PAINT the underside of the lace. Doing this process keeps the concealer from bleeding into the hair or leaving dust on the hairs of the wig! The last step is to seal the concealer in with a holding spray so that even if the hair gets wet, the concealer will not bleed through!!! Just be sure to use a concealer that matches your stocking/wig cap! ☺️

Her hair and eyes don't look natural. Your hair in your pic looks great! Please be aware of what happens to your scalp and hair from long term wig use (see Naomi Campbell who can afford the best of the best, and is now practically bald).

If I have came across a black barbie in real life...she is that. She is just absolutely gorgeous. It's sad the ignorance and jealousy people would have towards her because of her natural blue eyes. When I saw the video tag at first I thought she was wearing contacts until I played it and you can just see how real they really are. Also glad I watched this young goddess. I too am learning how to wear wigs properly so thanks babydoll.

Not only is your video informative and one of the best I've watched when it comes to wig tutorials, but you are ADORABLE! Not because of your gorgeous blue eyes (though they ARE stunning) but the fact that you didn't edit out little "oops" makes you so relatable! here's a few suggestions to try Try Honey - it helps bleach skin while also acting as a moisturizing agent. Dry skin is a factor that contributes to an uneven skin tone. Honey also has antibacterial properties that may help fade age spots and acne scars. Use Lemons -the acidic property in lemons works as a natural bleaching agent for the skin and the high amount of vitamin C in them encourages new cell growth. Also, lemons have antioxidants that are extremely good for skin complexion. Apply Aloe vera - this can alleviate hyperpigmentation and restore your skin’s original shade. Hyperpigmentation is one of the biggest causes of uneven skin tone. (I read these and the reasons they work from Nakedra Lighter Method site )

Fatima Saleck that's not true. I don't know how to braid that great, but I still slay my wigs. Since I have natural hair I look at how natural girls do their braids under wigs. Parting the hair in the middle and doing French braids (not perfect) going to the side is super easy. I'm telling u I'm the worse with hair and I can do it. My wigs lay flat and my hair is about 3 or 4 inches from bra strap length.

Omg, I just have to say that you’re adorable. Not only did I learn some stuff watching this, I was thoroughly entertained the whole time. The thing about the blow dryer had me rolling, haha. What’s so great about you (or one thing that’s so great rather) is that most ppl would probably want to edit out where they stumble over words or whatever, but I think it’s SO much better when ppl don’t do that, and you didn’t so it’s so refreshing to see someone be real for a minute on the internet. Anyway, I’m rambling but I had to say that bc so many times we miss out on what makes us all human, so it’s nice to see. Thanks for your videos, I love watching!

You may be a novice, but you seem very professional to me! I LOVE that you do the tweezing while the wig is ON the head!!! That makes SUCH sense to me. That way, you don't over pluck and you're tweezing along YOUR actual hairline and not a styrofoam head. Let's face it - YOU'LL be wearing the wig, the styrofoam head will not. Great video! Thank you!

instead of using a concealer on ur part, u could use a foundation powder, in ur shade or lighter on the inside of the wig, over the lace. i've found that to b better than wearing caps cause caps hurt my dang head 😂but u did great.

I find powder to be too messy. Ive seen quite a few YTers use powder and I tried it for the first time today on my parting as well as under the cap on the lace - part of the powder came thru the lace and made the hair look like it was grey, doh!

Alexandria Galore ooooo no I didn't use spray! But I'm happy with using my concealer, maybe on my next wig I'll try powder but I only wear synthetic wigs so I try not to use product on it apart from water lol

Poète Masqué No, it doesn't give you a headache because the edges aren't tight. In fact sometimes it can be a b!tch to keep on your head when u sleep with it (& no wig on top) LOL

how do you get the wig off? when i used to use the yellow got2b gel, i didnt know how to properly remove the wig, and ended up ripping out some of my own baby hair when i would take the wig off. i also have a very full/forward hairline so my baby hairs were always in contact with the glue.

Maybe try using a different gel to help set it. Forever Renee is right, hair gel comes out with water

Very informative video I really appreciate this because I'm new to wigs :) my question is if the got2b pulls your hair if you take it off at night, could you just use wig clips with a frontal instead of the got2b, and do you have to use the got2b every time you wear the wig ??

victoria ogunmowo I know that you use warm water to remove the "glue". but I believe you have to apply the glue each time if you remove it. DONT QUOTE ME 😂 But that's what I believe.
