Pro eq tip: if you make a 15db boost with a narrow Q, every frequency is gonna sound bad. You dont need to have 6 2db max q cuts. Youre just making it comb filtered. The vocal got far more thin after you finished eqing it. Basically, if you need to boost the frequency to make it a problem, its not a problem

Not necessarily. I believe it’s important to listen to the actually frequency you’re amplifying. If it actually fits harmonically then I’d leave it, but if it’s just low hums or high pitches going crazy after 4-5db boost get it outta there
