Oh my goodness Karen! I just came across you, thought, have a look. You, have opened up a whole new world for me. I'm a bit embarrased to say I never knew this type of art existed, yes big ignoramous here - I am awed at what you have created! Its absolutly beautiful. How on earth do you get your ideas? You have used so many mediums - even how you made this journal - its supurb - wow, I'm flabbergasted. Now I know what mixed mediums are! I am not an artist, only just begining to awaken in this magic world, with such a high age. I have missed so much - or perhaps I am only able to appreciate it now? Hi Karen-- I just put together a cereal box journal. Mine is 10.5 x 7.5. I'm still learning how to do faces. I try to follow your videos and every one I have done is very different and does not look quite like yours. I have not even tried to color for fear that I'll ruin my drawing. AC Moore in NY is going out of business; so I have found some mixed media supplies that I think I will be able to use. Looking forward for Friday's video. Bye for now.

Judy Conover Nope, you don't have to do a think except for what I showed you here. The cardboard on the printed side really isn't glossy, it's pretty matte or else yes, I would have had to sand or actually I probably wouldn't have even used it. The quote is not my own but the page that I grabbed if from on line also didn't list the author so I am not sure.
