Karen, that’s a great review and your teaching is excellent. I also love the Pitt pens,and recently I discovered the Staedtler pigment pens. The good news is, they are coming out with 24 extra colors so it will make it 60. I watched another channel that did a lot of research, on the German Amazon you can pre-order it,but doesn’t give a date when will be released. Also Cult Pens has the individual 24 new colors, but I’m not sure we can order them here in the states,and it’s much more expensive. But you can view what the new colors are. So even though we don’t know when will it be available first us in the US, it is coming,so that’s great. I thought I let you know that. 😊

These are cool. I bought some recently. I do have to say I prefer the Pitt brush ink markers for most things. I can see using these for fine lines etc. I do wish for more portrait/facial tone colors. I also keep artist's black soap ready for my 'mess ups' on my hands (I like to use my fingers for blending). Thanks for your take on these.

OMG, love, love this video. I got your books but it is amazing seeing your sandwich process. I just want to ask why not use anything oil? I did a big canvas and I used so many things like even oil pastels. I never hear about gelatos… beside the Italian iced cream 😉

Oh thanks!! You can’t use oil UNDER water based or water soluble anything. It can only go on TOP if other things. But the Hamburger system is just ONE way - there’s infinite ways to do Mixed media!! Thanks for your kind words! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi, thank you for sharing this video. Do you have any advice for making large scale collages? Im collating tracing paper that I painted on, but they keep wrinkling.. They are collaged onto a big wood panel, but I probably have to redo it... Please advise if you can!
@KarenCampbellArtist2 күн бұрын
Hi!!! I feel your pain. Unfortunately the bigger the pieces the harder it is so I find you really have to keep the sections to about palm size or they just aren't manageable! Is it possible to rip them up into smaller sizes? And every piece needs to really be massaged well while it's super wet. If you're covered in head to head medium then you're doing it right! lol
