Thanks. I watched 5 videos and read a few articles on how to make this. This is first time I saw oyster shells. I remember it’s in ocean forest. Probably why…nvm. Thanks for the suggestion on oyster shells.

I had some older eggshells that I collected because I don’t eat eggs and use now again for my worm bins grinded up, the eggs shells are probable one year old The egg shells are kept in a cupboard out of the sun I tried this technique but I’m not getting any bubbles coming up Is it because the egg shells are not fresh I can’t see what I am doing wrong and I’m using good quality vinegar

What about bone meal with vinegar?

Can I ask you a question about digestion🤷‍♂️? creating fertilizers? do you know anything about that🤷‍♂️, I've been searching the internet trying to find a recipe with no winner winner chicken dinner,, I'm trying to DIY liquid Bone-Meal and I can't find a thing but hot boil water and combine, no good for me, I need my end product to be acidic, 4.5-6.0 P.H ( I'm trying to digest finely ground up to the smallest micron bone meal oyster shell meal, rock phosphate, calcium carbonate and fish bone meal, all almost ground up into a talcum powder consistency,, I'm trying to turn everything into a liquid milky form/ fertilizer, I'm curious can I use lactic acid or phosphoric acid or enzymes or microbes, i see some people digesting eggshells with vinegar, not my first pick but I will if it works 🤷‍♂️) Nectar from the gods claim to digest their finely ground up bone meal with fulvic acid/brand "Ful-Power" in 8 weeks ( didn't know that's possible but I guess so, Earth power" I wonder if I can use leonardite Add Water and throw the bone in there and let it Digest 🤷‍♂️, someone suggested to me use " leaf mold " water and dump everything in a small tank) ? Can you help a fellow cannabis "Grower" out cant keep paying a company for their name etc etc when I can make this stuff at home for pennies on the dollar( please help distant science Gro-Brother out) 🤷‍♂️😁? ✌❤🛡🙏🤙 702 out💨💨💨

You can make a phosphorus rich extraction with bones and vinegar. I suggest cow bones. Roast or steam to weaken structure. Grind to small pieces, don't have to be powder. Mix in any vinegar. Let sit until no bubbles appear. Strain out liquid. You can add LAB after to make solution self stable. Any bone left over, just add more vinegar and start process over. These recipes usually end up around the 6-7 pH range once process is complete since most reactions cancel each other out to achieve balance. Adding LAB might get you to your desired lower pH. Thanks for responding. Keep on growing.

@@Highpeaksharvest I see Nectar from the gods use a protein gum/thicking agent I think it guar gum ?
@Highpeaksharvest
@Highpeaksharvest 2 жыл бұрын
@@ronevergrow8319 guar gum could work to make it thicker, and it is natural. Looking to break down rock phosphate is normally done by humic or folvic acids. Mostly, it requires biology or some breakdown of acids from earthworms, bacteria digestion. You might want to have separate ways to break down each amendment individually. Bones and shells I would use vinegar.

I usually make a batch and use it all up in a 6-month period. I just make more right before I run out. 6 months, no problem. Probably could last a year if stored in a dark and cooler environment. I use a sealed amber glass jar to store mine.

Too much cal can throw phosphorus out in flowering.
@Highpeaksharvest
@Highpeaksharvest Жыл бұрын
Agreed free calcium can bind with phosphorus. It's always a balance. But without calcium, the law of minimum kicks in, and plants will hit a plateau. Most cal-mag supplements on the market contain calcium nitrates which is why most growers stop giving cal-mag during flower. This solution is Calcium acetate, so there no nitrogen. Calcium is needed in all phases of plant development. Calcium is stored and used in the endoplasmic reticulum, which creates proteins and also is used for cell to cell communication.
