Good tip. Just had the experience of seating #18 with tight access and little visibility. Took my hand away and the crown was rotated 180 degrees. Gave credit to oral surgeon for his abilities to place implant in perfect orientation.

Always thought about adding glue to the screw but don't you think that screw loosening may be good as a red flag that tells when something is going wrong force wise, otherwise, this detrimental force are going straight into the implant and bone.

Good question. The patient should have a nightguard for wear while sleeping, but if the patient grinds their teeth during the day, there is nothing I know to do to save the restoration and implants. I do not want to have to be replacing implant abutment screws on a regular basis. Since I have been using the method I describe, i.e., torquing the screw twice to 35ncm, 15 minutes apart, and using the Nobel grip on the screw, knock on wood, I have not had a single implant screw loosen. There is no perfect answer I am aware of for the big time teeth clincher. Take your practice to the Top Tier. The healing abutment is a 3mm, narrow emergence, yellow implant (3.5 platform) Biohorizons... so most likely Biohorizons.
