As a kid I used to put Elmer glue on my fingers and then peel it off to look at the finger print it picked up. I'd use elmer's glue to do nail art.

If you have trouble seeing where you've applied the glue try adding a drop or 2 of acrylic paint to the glue bottle, just make sure it's a colour that isn't going to stain your fingers.

I reccomend using a shot cup and add the pva in that instead and use a cheap art brush to apply if you don't want to waste nail polish :), love the tutorial :D

'Αννα Σ' Try adding another coat to make it thicker. Your glue may have been thinner than mine so the layer is too thin. I usually add two coats to be safe and make peeling off easier :)

I always use liquid latex. Dries much faster, it's thicker, and it doesn't break apart when you peel it off.

Jill Bowen Elmers or PVA is cheaper and more easily obtained for most people, so it's a working, simple, painfree, and more hypoallergenic alternative. If latex works for you though, cool! I hear lots of other people use it as well. I personally cant as I have a sensitivity to latex.
