Hello loved your video can you use a different brand of resin for your A/B mixture. So the paste has one resin and the A/B mixture is another brand so 2 different brands of part A resin.
@HandcraftedbyMichelle
@HandcraftedbyMichelle Жыл бұрын
Hi Megan! Great question. Yes, you may use different brands. Just make sure you only use part A (the resin) in the paste. 😊

Thank you so much for sharing this. I've seen several videos on this. One mentioned that you can use either part A or B. Is that true? Also, you mentioned that resin expires. What is the shelf life.
@HandcraftedbyMichelle
@HandcraftedbyMichelle Жыл бұрын
Hello! I’ve only ever made it with part A. If you used part B it would change the viscosity, so I personally recommend part A (the Resin part). I use a shelf life of 6 months, but some would argue it may be longer. I would recommend after six months using a test piece before using it on anything; just to verify it is still viable. Take care.

@@HandcraftedbyMichelle Hello from Niger (Africa). Yes when she used part B it was thicker. Almost like a paste. Thanks for the info in the shelf life. I seriously didn't know resin expired. I use UV resin because I hate to wait. So will have to check on that as well. Thanks again.

Hi! If you aren’t using it in resin, I would not. It will never dry/cure and could ruin your piece.

Hi! It’s not paint. It’s pigment mixed with resin. The intent is to use it to pigment resin.

What do you do with the part b then?
@HandcraftedbyMichelle

Hi! Nothing with this product. You would only use part B if you were mixing the resin to cast.

@HandcraftedbyMichelle
@HandcraftedbyMichelle 2 ай бұрын
@@jodimarie379 It doesn’t take much part A to make this and you could use a resin from a company that allows you to buy just part A or part B; like Epodex Resin.

Hi! A good rule of thumb is six months, but a quick google search will give you a range of 6 months to 3 years. I’d recommend six months.

Maybe get a mic and clip it onto your shirt below your mouth sweetie. @HandcraftedbyMichelle Жыл бұрын
Hi Sherry. I am not sure what you mean by “use on a cup”. If you mean a tumbler, you would just mix it in with your resin to pigment the resin and then apply as you would normally. As for the audio - I just posted the same video with the highest volume my video editing tool would allow. Here is the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f3Pdl4ZjhLKojKMsi=crTK0lv60HY98JCZ I hope you are able to hear that one.
