HOW TO MAKE YOUR VIDEOS LOOK DREAMY | Premiere Pro Tutorial

Since Adobe Premiere Pro doesn't have a dreamlike glow effect to drag and drop, I made my own solution that looks great and is super quick to apply to your footage. Today, I'm teaching you the inside info to do it on any type of footage.
When you watch movies, often you can see dream-like sequences with soft focus, round bokeh, and slow motion. But the truth is, most of that look comes from using filters and/or expensive (and fast) lenses. I'm guessing you, like me, don't have that kind of lens lying around. So if we want to create that look, we gotta do it in post-production. That's where we're at now.
The point of this video is to help you give your footage some new life and to inspire you to try new things and take some risks with your editing and storytelling. It's not the best solution, and it's not the quickest one, but I find it allows for more variety in your work, and having another toolset in your arsenal is always good.

can you add dreamy gloww and bloom to the same clip?

yeah add the dream look on a duplicated layer on top of a duplicate layer which has the bloom effect. so you would have three layers of the same shot, with the dream look set to lighten above the others, you can then add a adjustment layer on top of all this with a channel blur for halation

Whenever I add the Luma Key effect in, it changes the position of the video and I can't change it. Even putting it on an adjustment layer doesn't fix it. What do I do?

try turning on (or off) GPU Hardware acceleration. might help. otherwise I am not sure what that is about.... sorry!

Hey brother. Thanks for the constructive comment. I rewatched the video with multiple headphones and speakers and I’m not sure which part you’re referring to regarding the sfx levels being too loud? Could you time stamp it so I can try and understand how to improve if this is an issue! Thanks!

@@Trentorialsthe clicking of the mouse at 0:45 is where it starts imo. When listening on my phone it’s substantially louder than your voice And yeah, when you’re dragging and dropping the clip, the mouse effect is too loud and could probably be half the volume it is. It feels like it’s sitting on top of your voice and not the other way around. IMO it should be a soft auditory confirmation of what’s happening and not the forefront

Hey brother. I appreciate your detailed response. I’ll listen back with my AirPods on my phone. I didn’t find it to be a concern on desktop speakers or some headphones but maybe iPhones master audio more intensely via KZbin. I’ll keep this in mind for next time. Always looking to improve
