There are some places working normally, and people do actually practice full contact karate with masks and all. I'm practicing all by myself, same as you, but when I get the vaccine, I'll resume my classes.

Use a makiwara, and you will build up good tsuki plus you´ll furthermore have a partner to practice some other things with. I recently build one to start over again, with what I was doing for years and what I became unable to do furtherly in the resent years due to financial and time related issues. I hope I can rejoin DKV after all this corona-shit is finally over and once and for all, with all that´s included in it, left far behind us. Hoping to see you at the next Karate-Summercamp which I attented about two years ago for the last time.

to understand if our blow is explosive, we must feel that the joints of the foot, knee, hip, shoulder of the elbow and wrist open and stretch. the foot presses hard on the ground and the spine stretches to allow the joints to stretch. exactly like a rubber band. our body like an elastic. only in this way will we be able to deliver an explosive and penetrating blow. otherwise we will have a biomechanical movement that can also be explosive but not penetrating that any body, even untrained, could endure.

@KenSato-IljaSmorguner4 жыл бұрын
Gerardo Estrada In my opinion you should start with basic training That means a lot of Kihon and Heian Kata. We already uploaded videos for stances, keri, zuki, and uke. We hope That will help you a little bit.

Hi! I started training again 2 years ago after a 12-year-long break. The most important thing for me was getting back into a training habit. Single techniques came back rather fast but kata and more automated responses in kumite took me longer, the latter is still something I need to work on. When the lock-down is over, I'd recommend finding a dojo with a regular group of people that you enjoy training with and that can serve as a good example while you relearn your techniques. During lockdown, adding kata and/or a shorter strings of techniques to your technique drills (forward and backwards steps, block-conter or kick-punch combinations...) might help making you it feel more natural to train again....uh...I'm bad at words, I hope you understand what I mean.

Everything is really nice and right but position of the fist in Shotokan way in Hikite going against the Bunkai . Hikite have a two purpose in Karate , Tskami and Backward strike with elbow. In both of this purpose position of your fist it's to low. You never gonna be able to perform this in action, you must rase your fist higher. Osu .
